We are home!!!

We got home this morning from the hospital. We are all doing great! You are all chomping at the bits I am sure to see our little miracle. Here she is...

Mae Aubrey Cleverly

She was born on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10:05 am. She weighed in at 8lb even at measures 21 inches long. WOW! Same length as Savannah.

This was Savannah when she was born (for comparison purposes). She was 7lb 3oz and measured (like I mentioned) 21 inches long.

Teeth chattering exhale

One day late! She couldn't come on her due date. She just had to be one day late. There goes my hope for having three girls in the family born on their due date. I guess Savannah and I will just have to enjoy that glory. Our stubborn little Mae woke me up just after 2am this morning with contractions! We haven't left for the hospital yet because we are timing the contractions. My water hasn't broken yet either but I sense it is coming. People sure are serious when they say each pregnancy is different. Savannah's pregnancy has been different and the labor even more so. Wish me luck! Little Mae will be with us within hours I am sure.

Yummy!

Savannah just started telling us she is scared and mentioning the dreaded 7 letter word....

M O N S T E R

So, I did what my mom did with me when I tried pulling the old monster routine. We took a little longer reading stories and singing songs and then we had a feast! The scarier the monster the better they taste. It took a little coaxing but when I asked Savannah if the monster she ate tasted like cream she totally caught on. Some of my winning flavors were chocolate, red licorice, play dough ice cream (Savannah's favorite), and strawberries. We haven't had a problem with monsters since.

Fantastic Ride

For Father's Day I got Josh a child seat for his bike. He has been riding more often and Savannah hates it when he leaves. Who would blame her? Josh has been gone all day and when it is "her" time he just leaves again. Of course it is mostly because I convince him it is okay to leave but I had to find a solution!

Josh really likes it because they can talk the whole time they are riding unlike those seats that go on the back of the bikes.

Savannah ready for an adventure and having to wait for a slow poke of a daddy to be ready.
Getting hooked into the seat.
Getting started.
Off they go! Have fun!
