POW! WHACK!! BAM!

Savannah came home from school yesterday with quite a story to tell.  Turns out...
She punched a kid in the stomache!
When Josh and I asked her why she replied, "the kid wouldn't stop following me."

Three Peas In A Pod

On the way home from school Savannah told me she had a mother's day gift to give me on Sunday.  I had specific instructions not to get into her school bag so that I wouldn't see it.  About a mile into our drive home she proceeded to tell me in a whisper that it was a necklace and I couldn't tell Mae.  Well, things change pretty quickly in my house.  We got home and the girls, Savannah & Mae, ran to the house leaving me in their dust.  I pulled Daisy out of the car and saw a small green sack on the floor.  I took it in the house and put it on the table as Savannah announced that she actually made herself a necklace.  As she put it around her neck she told me I get a card.  I suggested she put the card in the green bag and give it to me on Mother's Day.  The necklace she made herself is rather cute.  It is three peas in a pod.  So sweet!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss (tomorrow)

Dr. Seuss's birthday is tomorrow.  To help Savannah's school celebrate I made a cake.  I wish I had a little more time on the cake; I am very critical of my work.  The lighting was bad for pictures but here it is...

Before adding edible paint and taking it to school...

(Check out the messy kitchen!)

The finished product...

(Josh said The Lorax reminds him of Ned Flanders)

A very Happy Birthday to you, Dr. Seuss!

Gotta Love A Good Thief!

***This post contains some disgusting bodily issues.  Read at your own discretion!***

We just found out that William Cleverly (this would be Josh) was seen at San Jose Medical Group in San Jose, California for bloody stool and an ulcer.  The bill was $1,500.  I can't believe Josh went to California on March 11, 2011 to see a doctor for bloody stool when he could have saved us travel expenses and seen a doctor here in Ogden.  That must have been a busy day for him to fly there and back making me think he was just at work in Layton.  Oh wait, that wasn't him, that was a THIEF!

"I pulled it out!"

We have now entered a new stage in life.
Savannah is not so little anymore!  One tooth down, 19 to go!
