Savannah has been particularly funny when it comes to baths lately. When she wants one she will walk up to me and while rubbing her arms and legs say, "Mom. I need a bath tub. I have bugs, I so dirty." Who can say no to that?

Cover it up!
I read a comment from some lady that turned out to be something she posted on facebook. She said, on the subject of breast feeding in public, "If you don't want to see me nursing my baby, feel free to put a blanket over your head."

You spend how much on that?!?!
I was reading in parenting magazine (the free issue you get when you buy something at Motherhood Maternity) about grocery shopping. The USDA reported that families of 4 spend $750 to $1,200 a month on groceries. (This was by memory so it could have been a family of 5.) I know I barely have a family of 4 but we spend $50 a week on groceries unless there is a holiday, birthday, or we are having company stay at our house. How much is our grocery bill?

Princess Castle
Saturday evening we decided to embark on a journey to find the princess castle park. This was the first outing Mae and I joined Josh and Savannah on. I over did it but it was worth it. Before we left the house Savannah put on one of her princess dresses. She couldn't possibly go to a castle without the proper clothing. When we found it, it was amazing! I think we found our new favorite park. I was even impressed by it! The cake topper was that we happened to get there rights as they were starting their founders day celebration. Everything was free! They had a gas powered train taking kids for rides on the grass, a bounce house, an inflatable runner, an inflatable jump and stick thing (I don't know what they are called), a three sided climbing wall, a reptile show, face painting, popsicles, cotton candy, and a raffle. The only thing you had to pay for was the actual dinner meals from the local pizza joint and Holy Smokes BBQ. Because of what time we went to the park and how long we stayed we had cotton candy and popsicles for dinner. Yum! It was AWESOME! We had an amazing time. And Savannah loved being in the front row and see the baby crocodile!
